While the idea of Spawn as a Saturday morning cartoon turned off many fanboys, this collector found the concept very refreshing. To me, any hard-edged, mature property transformed into something soft and cute has a certain appeal to it. It's like you can't comprehend what you're seeing. The Adventures of Spawn toy line didn't exactly push this concept to the extreme; there wasn't a cartoony Violator with a decapitated head for example (which would have been cool IMO). But the simple animated look of the characters was creative, figures like Omega Spawn and Creech being two of my favorites.
