Mattel updates collectors on next year's MattyCollector.com subscription plans, revealing that a third plan - Club Lion Force - will be joining Club Eternia and Ecto-1 in 2012.
Club Lion Force will be dedicated to Mattel's newest license, Voltron. All the Club Lion Force details will be announced at San Diego Comic-Con, but Mattel announces for now that it will work exactly like their Club Eternia and Club Ecto-1 plans where you'll sign up in July for the 2012 subscription. A club-exclusive item will be part of the package.
Knowing that they will have three subscriptions for 2012, Mattel reveals that they have been hard at work to make the logistics better. For the first time, collectors will be able to order any number/combination of subscriptions from any of the three clubs and they’ll all ship together to minimize shipping costs.
This year, subscriptions sales are scheduled to start on Friday, July 22nd at 2 p.m. PT (5 p.m. ET) and end on Friday, August 5th at 2 p.m. PT (5 p.m. ET).
