I had my first Microman experience with the 1970's U.S. toy line it inspired, the wonderful world of the Micronauts. And while most U.S. collectors are infinitely more familiar with the Micronauts, Microman remains a mainstay in Japan, even though its popularity (and identity) has fluxed greatly over the years. I found this cool Acroyear at my local Five Below, for, you guessed it, $5. How could I resist? Part of 2005's MagneForce series, this figure harkens back to Microman's golden years in both look and function; Microman's trademark interchangeability modernized with cool magnetic limbs.
