Last month fans learned Hot Toys' plans to release a new Movie Masterpiece Series DX 06 Captain Jack Sparrow figure based on the forthcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Of course, it's simply not enough for Hot Toys to promote this impressive new addition to fan's collections in a simple email press release. Instead, Hot Toys has published a special aged-looking "newspaper" complete with photos, information, and interviews with Howard Chan, Founder and CEO of Hot Toys, and JC Hong, Chief Painter and Production Director (above).

As the newspaper states, the new DX 06 Captain Jack Sparrow figure will feature everything fans have come to expect from the company, including the P.E.R.S. (Parallel Eyeball Rolling System), specially sculpted hair, authentic sculpted likeness by artist Kojun of actor Johnny Depp, tailor-made costume accurate to the film, and even a movie-accurate 1/6th scale ship rudder and specially made movie base with logo.
