Before their extensive 8" Universal Monsters (https://www.figures.com/forums/news/12832-sideshow-toys-universal-monsters.html) series, Sideshow Toys rolled out the classic creatures in their adorable "Little Big Head" format. Measuring 2 inches tall, the line borrowed heavily from Japan's popular super deformed figures - each character sculpted as a caricature of itself with itty bitty limbs, small body and, well, a big head. The Universal Monster Little Big Heads were a huge hit, spawning numerous waves in both full color and retro black and white, in addition to various exclusives and silly side lines, such as Monster Shredders (https://www.figures.com/forums/news/12650-sideshow-toys-universal-monster-shredders.html). Pictured is the series that started it all.
