McFarlane's SportsPicks will see an across-the-board packaging change later this summer, starting with NFL 26 series. The packaging style will retain the key elements collectors enjoy, while fitting into a smaller overall footprint which will reduce plastic use, allow more figures to display in the same retail space, and offer more damage resistance than before.
The new SportsPicks packaging isn’t dramatically different from their current packaging – the main change is the elimination of the tall "billboard" area above the blister on the front of the card. By making the overall packaging shorter, retailers will be able to stack our figures four rows high instead of three.
