Toy Fair 2011 coverage brought to you by the following fine sponsors: BigBadToyStore.com (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com), Sekaido.com (http://www.yesanimation.com), and Collectibles Insurance (http://www.collectinsure.com/).

Kotobukiya's Toy Fair showroom immediately blew us away with the amazing diorama they had set up featuring Vader and a legion of Imperial Stormtroopers. Part of their new ARTFX+ series, the new 8 inch figures on display showed off the line's full potential, including the trooper's multiple weapon arm attachments, cool magnetic feet and jaw-dropping sculpt. The ARTFX+ Stormtroopers, as well as Boba Fett who was shown in his own awesome diorama (http://toyfair2011.figures.com/showphoto.php?photo=1887&title=star-wars&cat=549), are due out next month. See our story HERE (https://www.figures.com/forums/news/11452-new-star-wars-artfx-statues.html) for complete details. Darth Vader ARTFX+, which will include two bases - standard and one textured like the carbonite room in Empire - is due out in May.

On the ARTFX Statue front, Koto will be releasing several gorgeous pieces including one of Darth Maul (https://www.figures.com/forums/news/11225-star-wars-darth-maul-light-up-artfx-statue.html) inspired by Katsushika Hokusai's traditional Japanese ukiyo-e (shipping soon), Lord Darth Vader as seen in Return of the Jedi (July, $129.99), and an entirely new reveal: Commander Cody. Cody, due out in August priced at $129.99, will allow you to display the Clone Commander pre-Order 66 or post-Order 66 - with severed Battle Droid head and gun raised for the former, holographic projection in hand for the latter. Cool stuff.

Like their clever Lightsaber Chopsticks released last year, Koto continues to break new ground with their Star Wars license with a new range of silicon ice cube trays. On display was one design featuring R2-D2 and another with Han Solo encased in carbonite! Look for these 2nd quarter 2011 priced at $9.99 each.
