Come January 25th, Isaac Clarke returns to slice and dice his way through a new xenomorph menace in Dead Space 2, the sequel to 2008's hit sci-fi survival horror game. In addition to a standard game disc release (SRP $59.99), a deluxe Dead Space 2 Collector's Edition will be offered priced at $79.99. It will include:
• Dead Space 2 game
• Downloadable Unitology Suit and Force Gun, providing Isaac with unique benefits when used in Dead Space 2
• Dead Space 2 Original Soundtrack on CD; features an hour of music compiled from the game’s score
• Concept art lithograph depicting Necromorph transformation by Visceral Games artist Brett Marting
• Isaac Clark's collectible replica Plasma Cutter. Plasma Cutter is modelled from the new design in Dead Space 2 and features trigger activated LED lights.
Collectors of replica weapons should be pretty excited about this one. While the gun's dimensions haven't been revealed, it doesn't appear 1:1. Still, it should make for a nice display piece next to the new NECA Isaac Clarke action figure.
