Everyone knows Gumby, even though the character originated before most people were born back in the '50s. That's what you call a true pop culture icon. Anyways, seeing that my toy collection lacked the classic claymation critter, a Gumby figure was in order. And what a better place to start than with the original? To this day you can pick him up at a number of toy specialty shops, like Cracker Barrel.
However, the crown of my two-figure Gumby collection is one produced by Trendmasters back in the late '90s: Astronaut Gumby. Just a fun toy of an equally fun character. Long live Gumby!
