From the mind's eye to your collection...
San Diego Comic-Con coverage brought to you by Collectibles Insurance (http://www.collectinsure.com/), Big Bad Toy Store (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/default.aspx), Sekaido (http://www.yesanimation.com/), and Monkey Depot (http://www.monkeydepot.com/Default.asp?Redirected=Y).
Mattel offered a unique sneak peek into the world of toy production with their “Art of Toys” Comic-Con display. Full-color illustrations showed the process from concept ideas through the final stages of production, featuring Batman: Brave & the Bold. Another panel showed off unreleased images and prototypes of vinyl figures called Attitubes (if you like them, let Mattel know!).
