Orangestone Promotions, Inc., promoters of the Pittsburgh based convention called the Steel City Con is celebrating 21 years as "Pennsylvania's Largest Toy, Comic Book and Pop Culture Show" this August 6-8, 2010 at the Monroeville Convention Center.
Orangestone Promotions announces that the Steel City Con will be giving away a $25 Sideshow Collectibles.com Gift Card to the first 1,000 attendees who purchase a 3 Day Pass. The $25 Gift Card can be used on select merchandise on the Sideshow Collectibles.com web site (some restrictions apply). This $25 Gift Card is in addition to the comic books and toys included in the Goodie Bag given out to those who purchase the $20 3 Day Pass.
In addition to a massive selection of new and vintage toys and comic books, attendees will be treated to signing appearances by many pop culture Celebrity icons. Jake Lloyd ("Anakin Skywalker" from Star Wars) will be doing a rare signing appearance and his first in Pennsylvania. Recording Artist and Actor Micky Dolenz (from The Monkees fame) and Martin Klebba ("Marty" from Pirates of the Caribbean) will also be attending the August show. Wrestling fans will be treated to a rare appearance of WWE Diva and former Champion Lita. Classic TV fans will have an opportunity to meet David Faustino ("Bud Bundy" from Married with Children). Attendees can also expect to see a large number of Comic Book Artists and Illustrators.
