Today's Card Back is a simple one, originating from simplier toy times. These NECA TRON figures were re-issues of the original vintage figures released by Tomy way back in 1982. I was a huge TRON fan as a kid, pretending to play the deadly disc game with my Frisbee and geeking out at the pros playing the arcade game at the mall. But for reasons I do not recall, I never got my hands on these cool figures and vehicles. You can imagine my excitement when these re-issues were announced. Even better, NECA released the coveted Blue Light Cycle, a color that was never released in the original series, despite rumors to the contrary. Only 10,000 of each re-issue were made, their limited edition numbered visible on the reflective sticker on the back of each figure's packaging. I see this one is #29... perhaps I should have kept it sealed? Nah!
