Mattel is covering all their bases these days when it comes to DC Superheroes. There's the smaller scale Justice League figures for the kids, DC Universe Classics for the older kids and grown-ups and now there’s something for the really grown-up, grown-ups. This new collection of RETRO-ACTION figures harkens back to the days of MEGO and its unlimited line-up of 8-inch figures from numerous different franchises (yes, including Marvel) during the 1970s. While these are not re-issues, Mattel did a superb job in bringing that old style of "The World's Greatest Superheroes" back in an updated fashion. It's, how they say... good old-fashioned fun.
