Royal Bobbles, best known for their polystone bobbleheads of presidents and celebrities, is receiving some serious licensing power with the addition of AMC’s The Walking Dead.
On display were the first two releases – Negan and Daryl Dixon – each approximately 8-inch tall bobblehead carrying an MSRP of $29.95 . Other characters shown for the first time included Rick Grimes, Michonne, and Carol. The Carol bobblehead was my favorite, Royal Bobbles depicting “Scarol” – as she is affectionately dubbed by fans – with a plate of cookies offered in one hand, and a deadly knife hidden in the other.
Future Walking Dead bobbleheads include Glenn, as well as other beloved cast members, dead and alive. Zombies are also a possibility down the road.
