Storm Collectibles announces via Facebook that they have acquired the license to produce action figures based on the hyper-violent anime Fist of the North Star. Further details are to be announced.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world that has been destroyed by a nuclear war, Fist of the North Star’s story centers on a warrior named Kenshiro, the successor of a deadly martial art style known as Hokuto Shinken, which gives him the ability to kill most adversaries from within through the use of the human body’s secret vital points, often resulting in an exceptionally violent and gory death.

Fist of the North Star continues Storm’s hallmark for action figures based on popular fighting properties, including Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, and Tekken.
