In addition to Blitzway (see our story HERE), Soldier Story announces that they will be releasing 1/6 scale collectible figures from Ghostbusters (1984). It is highly unusual that two companies both hold the same license category, but it appears what makes Solider Story’s Ghostbusters figures different is the inclusion of diecast metal and light-up features.

Dr. Peter Venkman and Egon Spengler will be the first two releases, both scheduled to hit in the first quarter of 2017 (pricing TBA). Each figure includes a life-like head sculpt, hand crafted uniform, utility belt kit and boots, and “No Ghost” logo figure stand. What makes these standout from the Blitzway figures is the addition of Proton Packs featuring metal parts and accessories, as well as light-up effects.

Both figures will be offered individually, as well as together in a special edition set that includes movie business suits for the two characters.
