E-Z Pass on these. 1) The designs are really awful and disproportioned; 2) The 7″ scale is incompatible with the 6″ scale leader, Marvel Legends nor can collectors build upon previous 6″ DC lines; 3) the limited range of character choices don’t indicate the line’s future or commitment to cover the entire DC universe; 4) the animated offerings are pointlessly redundant to what DC already released & the obviously un-hidden articulation points ruin the animated designs; 5) the out-of-scale Batmobile “build incentive” is useless for the figures. Very disappointing and given McFarlane’s proven history on giving up on lines if sales don’t take off, I don’t see this line surviving. (Example: McFarlane gave up on it’s Star Trek line after only 2 well-made figures were released – no commitment at all.)

I feel bad for DC fans with McFarlane at the helm. I recently bought the Doom figure from them, and while I’m happy to have a Doom Slayer on my shelf, it’s a terrible figure overall.
90% of the articulation is useless, and the flesh paint on his arms looks like coverup. As far as these revealed DC figures go, the likenesses on most of them just looks off, and the BAF Batmobile that isn’t to scale is absolutely useless and won’t drive anybody to buy the whole line to assemble it. Hopefully this is just growing pains and they get better at producing higher-quality, better-articulated figures.
