Funko has offered action figures before, either as Kenner-like ReAction figures (now back in the hands of Super 7) or as more realistic releases (Game of Thrones, Evolve, etc.).
With their newest license – the hit fighting game series Mortal Kombat – Funko shakes things up by offering over-muscled action figures similar to those made popular by Masters of the Universe in the 80’s!
These fully articulated figures will stand roughly 5 ½ inches tall. Scheduled to hit stores this January, the first assortment will star Mortal Kombat heavy hitters Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Kitana, and Liu Kang.
With toy nostalgia being at an all-time high, it appears that Funko might have a new hit on their hands!
