The 6th figure in the Chou-Dan-Kadou Yoroi Den Ronin Warriors line, Sentinel is proud to release Kento of Hardrock (Kongo No Shu), the warrior of justice who wields the element of earth. The figure is scheduled for release in July 2023 priced at $145.
The 6.5-inch tall figure portrays Kento in anime-accurate Under-Gear and comes with a masterfully recreated set of Kento’s trademark Yoroi-Gear, the Armor of Hardrock, which can be attached or detached at will. Kento comes equipped with his trademark “Kongozue”, an iron staff with blades on each end that can break apart into a three-piece nunchuck. The three-sectioned staff can be shown in all its forms through the use of exchangeable parts.
Each body part fully mobile, this highly detailed figure can be posed in a wide variety of fighting stances. Pose Kento with the staff and recreate his special move, the “Iron Rock Crusher ”, or holster it safely on his back. The armor can be displayed on its own with the help of the frame base, recreating the form it appears in when summoned, and the set also includes a “Shogi” stool so Kento can relax beside his Yoroi-Gear. Four interchangeable facial expressions are included, crafted in meticulous detail that stays true to Animation Director Norio Shioyama’s original character design.
The figure employs magnets in the weapons for easy equipping and unequipping, and both the Under-Gear and Hardrock Armor were designed with superior molding for an improved anime-accurate presentation. Predominantly manufactured with ABS Plastic, the armor has a sharp feel and a glossy finish.
