Gecco is known as a company, that released the world’s first high-end mass-produced statue of a SILENT HILL character back in 2012.
10 years later after that popular first statue release, we are excited to announce the relaunch of the long-awaited SILENT HILL statue series.
The first item from the relaunched line is the “Red Pyramid Thing“. Pre-orders will open on November 1st, 2022 through Gecco Direct. Red Pyramid Head will be priced at $359.99 with shipping expected between March-May 2023.
“Red Pyramid Thing” was thoroughly supervised by the art director and monster designer of SILENT HILL 2, Masahiro Ito. Under the concept “If we produce a brand new Pyramid Head statue, let’s brush up the details that could not be expressed with the video game specs at the time of the game’s initial release, yet not spoil the original image.” Ito and the sculptor Akao teamed up to create this highly detailed statue.
The imposing upright posture, with the long spear in hand, recreates the iconic image of the executioner as seen in the painting “Misty Day, Remains of the Judgment” at the historical museum.
After the release of Red Pyramid Thing, the series will include
the protagonist James Sunderland,” the mysterious lady “Maria” and the
secret ending “Inu (Dog) End.” All of which will be expertly captured in 1/6
scale.
