The “King of Monsters” rears his lizard head again in Godzilla vs. Kong on March 31st, and to celebrate Mondo presents their largest collectible of the famed kajiu. Pulled from Godzilla’s appearance in 1989’s epic Godzilla vs. Biollante, the Godzilla ’89 Premium Scale Statue stands at a whopping 18 inches tall, sits on a 15-inch wide base, and comes with a switch-out mouth (open or closed). The dynamic piece was sculpted by Mark Newman and Hector Arce, designed by Eric Siebenaler, and painted by Hector Arcean dis priced at $350.
Also available, as supplies last, is the LIMITED EDITION ($375), which comes with the aforementioned switch-out mouth, as well as a switch-out Heat Ray and a battle-damaged arm, wounds inflicted by vicious vegetable Biollante!

I don’t understand why Godzilla is now always referred to a lizard. Growing up throughout the 70-90’s he was always a mutated dinosaur. Ever since 98′ hes a lizard. WTF? Even this statue; does that look anything like a lizard to you?
