After years of inactivity, Hasbro is finally bringing back G.I.Joe in full force. Dipping their toes into the water earlier this year with the announcement of a new 6-inch Classified figure series, the relaunch of the official G.I.Joe website – GIJoe.com – confirms that Hasbro is again devoted to the brand that made them famous. On the site, fans can find info on the two warring factions, history of the brand, news on the upcoming Snake Eyes: G.I.Joe Origins movie, comics, product and more.
Of particular note is an in-depth look on many of the G.I.Joe characters, including new character art and a Classified Files section. What that means for the toyline is anyone’s guess, but I don’t think Hasbro would reveal so much backstory without a reason.

We would run home from the bus stop watch g.i.joe and then meet up in the back yard or biggest pile of dirt or stream/ creek and play for hours playing out the last episode with a few twist of course yo! 3 3/4. Series had everything you could ask for in a collectable series toy even when they did the 25th anniversary series how cool was that. But it was too short and people would go into the stores and grab all the rare caricatures off the shelf leaving none for anyone else . Then sell them on ebay or on line for absurd amounts of money. Scumbags! Stores should not allow that crap. Right? Right! Anyways thats my feelings on that. Make plenty of each and every caricature and give enough time before wave release dates for people to get thee entire wave daa! You mean too tell me these people in charge of all these decisions went too college and school for 4/6 years and I barely graduated highschool yet I’m still smarter than they are C’MON MAN! I’m just a painter but if your looking for the right way too reintroduce one of the greatest toy lines ever just send me a corporate number yeah? The rock that was the best you guys could come up with they destroyed the g.i. joe movies nevermind it should only be animated transformers great g.i. joe not so much stick to what works cartoon series and 3 3/4 sizing
