Kotobukiya showed off a slew of new product at New York Comic Con from their range of hot licenses, including Star Wars, Marvel, DC Comics, My Little Pony, and more.
STAR WARS: From the eagerily awaited Saga conclusion, The Rise of Skywalker, comes Rey as a stunning ARTFX resin statue ($179.99, arriving in February 2020) and Kylo Ren as a new ARTFX+ statue (March 2020, price TBD). Other new Star Wars ARTFX+ statues included The Mandalorian and IG-11 from the upcoming Disney+ series The Mandalorian, a BB-8 and D-0 ARTFX statue, as well as the new Sith Trooper 2-pack (see our story HERE).
DC COMICS: The Joker took center stage with a new Ikemen statue (March 2020, $109.99) and a ARTFX statue othe Batman Who Laughs (April 2020, $149.99). A Nightwing ARTFX statue (March 2020, $139.99) rounded out the new DC reveals.
DEMON SLAYER: This anime will receive the ARTFX J treatment.
MARVEL: Koto’s ARTFX Premier series showed off the newest superhero, Black Widow.
MY LITTLE PONY: A painted prototype of Rarity was on display (May 2020, $99.99), along with a non-painted prototype of Rainbow Dash (August 2020, $TBD).
HORROR BISHOUJO: New reveals included concept art and prototype for Beetlejuice, as well as a blacked out silhouette for IT’s Pennywise the Clown! Pennywise was also shown as Koto’s new DOKODEMO IT ARTFX Statue (see HERE).
