Dragon Ball always has a presence at San Diego Comic-Con, but 2019 was really special with the debut of the Dragon Ball World Adventure, and a Guinness World Record set on preview night for the most people performing Goku’s signature Kamehameha move at once! The World Adventure consists of a large outdoor pavilion with lots going on. There are tons of figures, statues, and other collectibles on hand (mainly from Dragon Ball Super) from Bandai as well as demo areas for Dragon Ball video games and card games plus photo ops with statues and energy effects, and more! The Dragon Ball World Adventure will be open throughout San Diego Comic-Con, so if you’re in town make sure to check it out (behind the Marriott).

On preview night the World Adventure held a truly unique event. Several of our Figures.com staff and hundreds more fans packed the venue to participate in a Guinness World Record breaking Kamehameha! It was super fun, and they even had Goku voice actor Sean Schemmel on hand to coach us through the technique. As far as we know the record was successfully broken, but we’ll have to confirm with the very officious reps who were there checking everything.
