Mezco held a press event at Toy Fair that built an excitement about what new product we’d see inside their booth. While we had an idea of what to expect, courtesy of their numerous Toy Fair Previews, Mezco still managed to surprise.

A new license on display in various Mezco collectible formats included the upcoming supernatural horror movie, The Curse of La Llorona. Arriving in U.S. theaters April 19, the movie features a female ghost (La Llorona) whose creepy visage is covered by a veil. The spectre will receive a Living Dead Doll, Stylized Figure and a towering 15-inch Mega Scale figure.

Mezco’s super popular One:12 Collective floored us with several new 6-inch figure licenses. These included aliens from the classic John Carpenter film They Live (a license we saw A LOT of at this year’s Toy Fair), David Harbour’s role as Mike Mignola’s Hellboy, and Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel!

An all-new figure line unveiled at Toy Fair was called 5 Points. As I pointed in my preview article HERE, the series appears to tap into the retro-action figure craze of simpler figures with 5 points of articulation. Licenses on display that will receive the 5 Points treatment included Scooby-Doo, The Warriors, The Six Million Dollar Man (and Big Foot!), Bird Man and Space Ghost, along with spooky characters from the new animated Addams Family movie releasing this October.
