Star Ace Deform Real Series - Kong: Skull Island

Now here’s something cool and different from Star Ace. The company, best known for their 1:6th scale figures, is branching out with a new “Deform Real” series – vinyl statues featuring oversized heads on realistic bodies in dynamic poses. Each figure will stand between 6-10 inches tall

The first figures in the Deform Real line hail from the Warner Bros. film Kong: Skull Island. In the 2017 film, a group of explorers visit an uncharted island in the Pacific and battle terrifying monsters including the 100-foot-tall guardian of the island – Kong.

Star Ace is releasing three pieces in the Kong: Skull Island line starting early next year. The first is a two character Deform Real soft vinyl diorama which stands 8.8-inches tall and features the mighty king of Skull Island battling a Skull Crawler (pictured above). Kong roars his defiance as he holds up the Skull Crawler by its jaw as the creature wraps its tail around Kong’s legs. The diorama will be priced at $110.99.

Kong will also be offered by himself priced at $54.99. Standing 6 inches tall, this soft vinyl statue features the mighty king of Skull Island in a fighting pose.
