Coo Model Introduces New 1/12th Scale Figure Series: "Palm Empire"

Coo Model, best known for their 1/6th scale figure work, is branching out into 1/12th scale. Called Palm Empire, the new figure series introduces realistic, hyper articulated 6-inch action figures featuring real cloth outfits and numerous accessories.

While Mezco popularized the concept with their One:12 Collective, Coo Model ditches the licensing in favor of history. It’s also a very natural fit for the company, as Palm Empire are essentially 12-inch action figures – something Coo Models has experience with – sized down to a much smaller scale.

The first assortment consists of three medieval warriors: Hospitaller Knight, Templar Knight, and my personal favorite, Teutonic Knight. Priced at $79.99, each figure includes 4 pairs of interchangeable hands, helmet, shield, sword and dagger, and realistic garb, including chainmail and tunic.

These are available for pre-order now through various retailers, including BigBadToyStore.com and Cotswold Collectibles. They are scheduled to arrive third quarter 2018.
