  1. Man- those 6″ Teen Titans are WAY over-priced and cheap looking. (That Starfire pose is AWFUL)
The 9″ figures look pretty good though.

Truly sad, these do not look ANYTHING like George Perez’s work. And they are seriously over-priced. The Heroclix New Teen Titans representation of The New Teen Titans #1 cover BLOWS this one away — and it comes with a backround base too. Also, the original DC Direct 6″ individual figures look more like George Perez’s work than these.

Fans/collectors can take the original DC Direct 6″ figures and make their own representation of New Teen Titans # 1 cover and save themselves $600.00, which is what this ‘DC Collectibles’ version will cost. DC Collectibles shows they are incapable of matching product quality that other companies produce. DC Collectibles fails miserably with their inability to manufacture a DR FATE Helmet Prop, advertised 15 years ago, then 2 yrs ago — despite tons of other companies putting out metallic helmets for Marvel/Star Wars en masse.

With Warner Bros behind them, you’d think DC could get their act together: but their refusal to put out any George Perez Wonder Woman product (they put out WW stuff by every other no-name artist in the biz, this despite Perez’s successful, legendary reboot of the character in the 80s). This over-priced, un-George Perez like New Teen Titans # 1 statue is just another example of why DC Collectibles is just failing and falling behind every other company producing product today. And chances are, like most of their solicited stuff, will be cancelled due to low ordering bc of poor quality. PS. That Wonder Girl is just laughable.
