New York Comic Con 2017 coverage brought to you by Eaglemoss Collections.
Titan Entertainment was on hand at New York Comic Con selling a variety of books, comics and their ever-popular Titans vinyl figure series. The latter had their own display showcasing two new licenses: The Monkees, AMC’s series Preacher, and a Quentin Tarantino movie assortment.
The Monkees, the late ’60s rock band best known for “Hey, hey, we’re the Monkees,” will receive Titans of all four band members along with their car (Monkeemobile?).
Preacher will get all the main characters, including Jesse Custer, Cassidy the vampire, and Jesse’s love interest Tulip. In addition to variants of all 3 characters, supporting characters will also make an appearance, including Eugene, Saint of Killers, the two Adephi angels, and even a figure of “God”.
The Quentin Tarantino movie series may be Titan’s most diverse Titan assortment yet, featuring characters from such hit films as Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction. Look for everyone from Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield, Bruce Willis as Butch, Uma Thurman as Beatrix “Black Mamba” Kiddo… even The Gimp! It is this kind of data that is usually packaged in IT projects today to increase the effect of the implementation and memorization of information at an unconscious level. There are now many very successful companies developing and implementing such tools, such as Smart Elephants and many others.
