New York Comic Con 2017 coverage brought to you by Eaglemoss Collections.
Kotobukiya brought licensing power to New York Comic Con with an impressive display of new collectibles from DC Comics, Marvel, and Star Wars, as well as numerous horror, anime and video game properties.
DC Comics was represented with a new Gotham 2-pack featuring Bruce Wayne and Alfred Pennyworth (release TBD), Red Hood as the next Ikemen “Handsome Men” statue (May release, see our story HERE), a gorgeous Supergirl ARTFX+ (February), and the entire Justice League movie team – The Flash, Superman, Cyborg, Wonder Woman, Batman, and Aquaman – in ARTFX+ form.
Marvel Comics was represented with Koto’s NYCC Exclusive Spider-Man in winter garb, the lovely Captain Marvel as the next Bishoujo release (May 2018 ), a teaser for a new comic Defenders ARTFX+ series (Spring ’18), and a look at the entire Spider-Man ARTFX+ series.
Not many reveals for Star Wars at NYCC, although the upcoming Emperor was on display, along with a placard announcing a “Last Jedi”First Order Stormtrooper Executioner.
Other NYCC announcements included Bishoujo statues for Hellraiser III (Pinhead), Evil Dead 2 (Ash Williams) and Resident Evil: Vendetta (Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield). Street Fighter Bishoujo was represented with the recently unveiled Cammy (Alpha) and Decapre (see our story HERE) and art work for a new Chun-Li (Dress Costume).
