It wouldn’t be San Diego Comic-Con without a visit to WizKids Games to check out what’s coming up in HeroClix and their other fun games, and for 2017 their display of upcoming items focused mainly on The Mighty Thor. A HeroClix set coming next month, this expansion is bringing with it an unheard of number of hammer-wielders, Asgardians, monsters, and more with the return of colossal figures in Super Boosters. On display at the WizKids booth was a sealed brick showing off the artwork as well as single figures of Thor Odinson, Thor (Jane Foster), Throg, Hela, Thorbuster, Executioner, Groot Thor, and a mysterious fellow resembling a racoon in an Iron Man suit. There were also new items of Frogjolnir and the Bloodaxe.

Also on display were two figures from the upcoming Undead set, a Ghost and the Werewolf Alpha. Meanwhile HeroClix players over at the Diamond Previews booth could check out the colossal Ms. Marvel, Loki, Piledriver, and Tyrannus, not to mention another side of the Mighty Thor booster box. We also looked at some Star Trek Attack Wing back at the WizKids booth including Deep Cuts unpainted ships that you can customize as you like and Card Packs.
