Dark Horse Deluxe once again graced Toy Fair with clean display of their many licensed collectibles. First to catch my eye was their new assortment of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt figures. Unveiled right before the show (see our story HERE), the figures impressed even more in person. Look for figures of Geralt of Rivia, Dandelion, and Shani this September for a suggested retail price is $34.99 each.

Speaking of figures, Dark Horse’s Game of Thrones collection continues to expand. New characters on display included Tormund (July release) Melisaandre and Daenerys Mother of Dragons (both arriving in August). Fans may recall that we received a Daenerys waaaay back at the very start of this series. This new version of the popular character shows Dark Horse’s intent to revist past characters with new looks/ outfits. They have, after all, released practically every major (and minor) character on the series, the Dark Horse Game of Thrones line running well over 25 figures deep.

Other Game of Thrones collectibles included a dynamic bust of Jon Snow in action (July release, price TBD). This is taken from the scene in Season 6 where he fights against Ramsay Bolton’s army. GoT fans can also look forward to a new Three-Eyed Raven Snow Globe (june release, $99.99) and my favorite, a Hordor Doorstopper (lol!).  Dark Horse is still working out the logistics of this piece, including the type of metal to be used (it will have to be heavy!), price point and release date.

Dark Horse’s series of Mass Effect replica ships will continue on with new vehicles from Mass Effect: Andromeda. Look for a replica of the Tempest this June priced at $39.99.

Vehicle replicas form Halo will continue on strong as well, with two new ships from Halo Wars 2. Look for the UNSC Spirit of Fire to release March 1st ($49.99), followed by two versions of the Vulture this summer (green and orange, $39.99 each).

Last but not least was a stunning statue of Link from the new video game Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. A release date and price point is still be worked out.

  1. I hope, one day Dark Horse will decide to re-release some of the older Game Of Thrones statues with better sculpts and poses.
