At Kotobukiya’s New York Comic Con Fall/Winter Preview Panel today, numerous new Star Wars announcements were made.
New Star Wars ARTFX+ statues for 2017 include:
- Rey and Finn 2-pack
- Poe Dameron and BB-8 2-pack
- Obi-Wan Kenobi (A New Hope)
- Han Solo and Chewbacca 2-pack (The Force Awakens)
- First Order Stormtrooper FN-2199 (aka “TR-8R”)
Also announced was news that Kotobukiya will be offering four (4) exclusives at Star Wars Celebration 2017, April 13 – 16 in Orlando, Florida. Koto revealed that one of the exclusives will be a ARTFX+ 0-0-0 and BT-1 2-pack (pictured top), the evil C-3PO and R2-D2 droids from the Darth Vader #3 comic book! Triple Zero will be a menacing black re-paint of C-3PO while BT-1 will be a dark version of R5-D4 will a newly sculpted head dome. Sorry, but no plans for the extended weapons.

This news makes me downright giddy! I’ve purchased many of Koto’s Star Wars figures and longed for more rebel figures. I’m so happy to see they will be making more ‘good guys’.
