PACKAGING: Zodak comes packaged in the standard Masters of the Universe Classics blister-card packaging. The carded figure comes packed in the white mailer box which has proven to be a highly successful move by Mattel to ensure the figures are delivered in the best condition possible. The bio reveals plenty of interesting information regarding this cosmic enforcer from the 200X animated series. Zodak's bio reveals his true name Kar-Tor and shares a lot of insight into the characters background and relation with the original Zodac.

ARTICULATION: Zodak features the standard 16 points of articulation that we have seen so far on all the rest of the Masters of the Universe Classics figures plus four additional jointed spider legs. Zodak offers several cool posing options thanks to the vast amount of firmly placed joints on his body.

PAINT: This figure is painted incredibly well with no visible paint bleeds or flaws. The paint quality and execution is exactly what is expected of a $20 collectible figure. As an added bonus, Zodak's body markings glow-in-the-dark to resemble the cosmic effects portrayed in the 200X cartoon. The majority of the body is painted in a uniform dark brown color which contrasts very well with the body markings. Overall this figure features an exceptionally clean and detailed paint job that looks great with the lights on or off.

SCULPT/ACCESSORIES: Zodak includes removable chest armor and a cosmic battle staff. The figure's entire body is made up of several other figures' parts. Zodak's boots and armored briefs are made up of the SDCC Exclusive He-Ro and the head is the same mold as the original Zodac but the figure also features it very own distinct gloved forearms. The Four Horsemen have cleverly created this figure for all the 200X fans by using re-tooling to save on production cost but have still achieved amazing results. Although this is not an accessory-heavy figure, it is still a must-have addition to the expanding MOTUC line.

OVERALL: I have to admit that I am not a big fan of the original Zodac and was very excited to find out that this 200X character was being released as a bonus figure. I have eagerly been anticipating this figure's release since it was exclusively revealed at Comic-Con. Masters of the Universe Classics just keeps getting better by the month and I am especially excited now that 200X characters such as Zodak are being incorporated into line. As of right now, this figure has completely sold out on mattycollector.com but it should not be too difficult to get one of these online for slightly higher price.
