Wal-Mart’s exclusive DC Universe Classics Series 10 assortment sure packs a punch in terms of high-demand characters. Following PART 1 of our exclusive in-depth review, we bring you a look at the remaing three characters: Beast Boy, Power Girl, and Robotman.

SCULPT: The Four Horsemen have done a fantastic job with their version of Power Girl as evident in the exceptional sculpt work her figure portrays. The face sculpt on Kara Zor-L is exceptional and the additional tooling on the body like the short cape, boots and bust area very well fabricated.

Robotman is a great example of how unique and different a figure can look by adding a new head sculpt, metallic paint and minor tooling details to an average heroic buck body. The removable scull cap with exposed brain is a very cool added bonus as well. With Beast Boy, the Horsemen used the same teenage buck mold used for Robin and Kid Flash and added a new head sculpt, boots and sculpted hair on the arms to create this cool animalistic shape shifter.

PAINT: Power Girl has no evident imperfections or flaking on any part of the body. The head is painted almost flawlessly and exceeded my expectations by a landslide. It is very disappointing when you buy a female action figure and the toy is ruined by a sloppy facial paint job but PG passed that test with flying colors! Robotman has a sleek/clean uniform paint job and best of all no color hue differences on any of the individual body parts. Beastboy features several different colors and is painted exceptionally well also.

ARTICULATION: All three of these figures offer a wide range of posing options as is customary with the DC Universe Classics line. In the past, the female figures have always featured less articulated joints to compliment the sculpt but not this time. Even Power Girl has the same exact range of motion as the male DCUC figures which is great and best of all, it does not take away from the curvy feminine sculpt.

ACCESSORIES: Beastboy is the only figure out of the three which includes a packed-in accessory of him in the form of an eagle. This was a very clever move by Mattel which re-used the same mold that was used in the Wonder Twins gift set as well as the upcoming Teela figure which will also include a pack in bird “Zoar”. Although Robotman’s skull cap can be removed, I do not consider that piece an accessory because it is part of the character’s body. In regards to Power Girl, she does not include anything else except the Collect and Connect piece.

OVERALL: Whether you are a hardcore DC fan or just a rabid Four Horsemen groupie, this collection has something for everyone. The Power Girl, Robotman and Beastboy figures round off this assortment very nicely and make this particular assortment of DC Universe Classics a must-have for collectors of all ages.
