Ace Trucking Co. Returns for the First Time in More Than 25 Years...
After the runaway success of reviving its seasonal specials last year, the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic returns with another 48-page 2000 AD Summer Special bringing you self-contained stories featuring some of 2000 AD’s most popular characters.
And there’s a treat for older readers with the return of the perennially popular Ace Trucking Company! Originally created by John Wagner, Alan Grant, and Massimo Belardinelli, Ace Trucking Co. ran from 1981-86 with a blend of funny CB radio slang and outlandish space adventures featuring pointy-headed proprietor Ace Garp, undead second-in-command GBH, and engineer Feek the Freek. Star’s Truck by Eddie Robson and Nick Dyer sees the merry band reform for the first time in almost 30 years!
Other fan favourites set to return include Rogue Trooper and Robo-Hunter, while work by veteran 2000 AD creators such as John Higgins, Neil Googe, and Gordon Rennie is mixed with new blood such as Mike Carroll, Guy Adams, Emma Beeby, Alec Worley and Mark Simmons!
The full line-up for the Summer Special includes:
- Judge Dredd: Let’s Go To Work by Mike Carroll & Jake Lynch
- Rogue Trooper: Death of a Demon by Guy Adams & Darren Douglas
- Ace Trucking Co.: Star’s Truck by Eddie Robson & Nick Dyer
- Survival Geeks: Movie Night by Gordon Rennie, Emma Beeby & Neil Googe
- Robo-Hunter: Iron Sam by Alec Worley & Mark Simmons
- Future Shocks: Dust by Gary Blatchford & John Higgins
The 2000 AD Summer Special will be on sale from June 24, as well as digitally from the 2000 AD webshop and the 2000 AD Apple and Android apps.
