    S.H. Figuarts Star Wars Announced

Vader and Stormtrooper Lead The Charge...

News from the Tokyo Toy Show reveals that Bandai Japan has secured the Star Wars license for their popular S.H. Figuarts series. The first 1/12 scale character releases (sometime in 2015) include Darth Vader and Stromtroopers (pictured above). Most exciting was the unveiling of a new Movie Realization off-shoot series, the first figure being a Samurai Darth Vader (pictured below). This unique interpretation of the Sith Lord is scheduled for release in Japan this winter.

Re: S.H. Figuarts Star Wars Announced

Considering the rampant qc issues of the Star Wars Black line I cannot be happier about this. The Black line looks good at toy shows, but the finished products are spotty, the weapons often soft and bent, they're not really all that much better than the vintage line. The poseability and reliability of Figure Arts for Star Wars is just a total win for fans. Figma and FigureArts are just stupid hard to top for quality and reliability.

    This utterly fantastic news.
