Captain Action at New Jersey Comic Con

Captain Action Enterprises, licensors of the Captain Action toy line, have announced they will be appearing at the New Jersey Comic Book Show in Hasbrouck Heights this Sunday.

The show is scheduled for Sunday, March 30th, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The regional comic convention is located at the Hasbrouck Heights Holiday Inn at 283 Route 17 South in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Admission is $2.00, and free for kids under 12. And there is plenty of free parking.

“We just love these local shows as they are a great way to meet faithful collectors while at the same time introduce new fans and families to Captain Action,” said Ed Catto, Retropreneur at Captain Action Enterprises, LLC. “And as always, we’ll be offering some great show sales & specials during the convention.”

Captain Action is based on the action figure created in 1966 by Stan Weston for Ideal Toys and sold internationally. The line has experienced a strong resurgence with toys, comics and collectibles. An animated series, with initial scripts by Marv Wolfman, is being planned.


Captain Action Enterprises will be showcasing toys, comics, T-shirts and collectibles at the show.
