    Presenting CREATUREPLICA

New Toy Company To Develop New Cryptid Action Figure Line...

Presenting CREATUREPLICA, a new toy company set to develop a new line of cryptid action figures. Formed by Jeff Beyers, Sam Lute and Jean St. Jean, Creatureplica's initial figure wave will be in scale with 6” and 7” action figure lines, fully articulated with environmental bases. Wave 1, scheduled for release this Fall, will consist of Sasquatch, a Yeti, the Horror Hound (mascot for acclaimed Horror Hound magazine) and the Rougarou (a Louisiana cryptic werewolf). The Sasquatch and Horror Hound - picture here in painted prototype form - will make their public debut tomorrow at Horror Hound Weekend (click HERE for show details). Expect to see more Creatureplica reveals at San Diego Comic-Con this summer.

Jean St. Jean, who sculpted the two amazing figures, comments on the new series by saying "Creatureplica is allowing me to approach this line with a level of attention to detail, sculptural refinement and authenticity that hasn’t been given to the topic before. With that said, you’re going to be seeing things that aren’t going to look like the typical versions of cryptids that are generally thrown out there by typical toy manufacturers."

We'll have more details for you as the line progresses.
