New Themes Include Dragons, Construction, and More Dragons...

International figure and playset favorite, Playmobil, was on hand at Toy Fair showing off half a year's worth of imaginative new product. New themes this year include dragons, real world construction, and even more dragons in the form of an Asian Dragon Land.

March: Police Truck and Speedboat (battery-operated propeller works in water), Camping line (Campground with pool, Family Caravan, Camp Site, Family Camping Trip, Biker at Camp Site), Secret Play Boxes that use a key to open (Dragon Lair, Police Station)

May: Construction line (Flatbed Truck, Excavator), relaunch of Soccer line for World Cup, 40th Anniversary two-packs (knights, princesses, fire brigade), Remote Control Police Truck with video camera, Pirate Ship with underwater motor, Mountain Life line (Alpine Lodge with patio, Cable Car, Backpacker Family), Rescue Team line

August: Mystery blind bags figures Series 7, Animal Ark with wheels/underwater motor, Asian Dragon Land line (Great Asian Castle with trap door and cannons, Secret Dragon Fort, Dragon Battle Ship, Giant Battle Dragon with light up tongue & "mane", small dragon figures), and more entries in the Construction line (Large Crane with infrared remote control, Flatbed Truck that can fit all the other trucks in the line, Dump Truck, Front Loader, Supervisor's Vehicle)
