2013 saw the launch of Mega Bloks' new Call of Duty line, and it's absolutely exploding in 2014! At New York Toy Fair 2014 we got to see a huge display of the upcoming figures and construction sets and were blown away by the variety and quality. In the standard series this year will bring sets of every shape and price point, starting with the $5 figures that come with extra elements like the Ghillie Sniper, Bomb Disposal Expert ("Juggernaut"), Arctic Commando, and Riley with Vulture Drone.

At the $15 level are troop sets that bring you five figures each with an incredible 14 points of articulation plus plenty of gear! These include a Jungle set in the Spring and the highly anticipated Urban Sniper set in the Fall. This level also brings the Light Armored Vehicle assortment with the Desert Outpost (featuring the spiral barbed wire) in the Spring plus Rocket Turret, SAM Turret, Motorcycle Pursuit, Arctic Battleground, Vulture Strike, Ghost Repel Fighters, and more! Larger sets include the APC Invasion with CIA agent Hudson and rocket-propelled grenades, Chopper Strike, and Light Armor Firebase. The Heavy Lift Copter is the big aerial vehicle for the Fall that's comprised of 1000 pieces and comes with three figures and another Riley. All of that was cool, but probably the most impressive item in the Call of Duty display was the ODIN Space Station Strike set complete with a huge satellite and three astronauts ready to do battle!

Mega Bloks hasn't forgotten about all you zombie lovers, which is good since that line is doing really well and looks to expand in 2014. A big focus is going to be jail-themed zombies from the DLC Mob of the Dead, and Mega will start with more six-figure packs including the Zombie Horde and Zombie Mob. The big set is Mob of the Dead Alcatraz, a two story section of the prison with lots of personality, zombies, and a new zombie prison guard!
