Lots Of Big Things In The Works For The Captain...

2014 promises to be a big year for Round 2 and Captain Action, with a lot of different ventures in the works. While they didn't have anything new on display at Toy Fair, the Captain Action guys were happy to share some news and the directions they're going this year. The first of two great collaborations is with Titan Merchandise who is making a line of Captain Action apparel and ID holders (very popular among British youth); look for fun t-shirts now and more items coming soon. Their other partner is Tonner, producer of the Lady Lady Action doll! We learned that she'll be a main feature at the upcoming TonnerCon 2014. Meanwhile, Round 2 is finalizing new packaging prototypes and looking to return to Toys R Us with DC and the Aquaman build a figure series. Captain Action continues to appear in other media too, with the Codename Action comic mini series from Dynamite, Captain Action Cat by Art Baltazar and Franco, and a new comic to appear at C2E2!
