Star Wars is a perennial favorite for LEGO collectors and kids alike, and 2014 is going to be another banner year for the license. At the exclusive Toy Fair LEGO event we got a great sneak peek at a ton of upcoming sets from the new Microfighters line to the Rebels and Yoda Chronicles, and even some great new versions of LARGE vehicles from the Star Wars universe! Microfighters, if you haven't heard, are small scale super-deformed vehicles with launching projectiles and that come with a figure who can sit on/in it. Coming this year are the Clone Turbo Tank with Clone Trooper, AAT with Battle Droid, Millennium Falcon with Han Solo, TIE Interceptor with Imperial Pilot, X-Wing Fighter with Rebel Pilot, and Star Destroyer with Imperial Officer. These are all due in March for about $10.

Mid-range sets also coming in March include $13 army builders like Death Star Troopers, Kashyyyk Troopers, and Utapau Troopers and the $15 Battle at Saleucami. Small vehicles ($25) arriving alongside those bring a new Jedi Interceptor, V-Wing Starfighter, and Vulture Droid, plus an awesome General Grievous' Wheel Bike set with the cyborg vs. Obi-Wan. Droids attack with the Droid Gunship ($50) while the Clones fight back with the AT-TP ($60)!

August will see the release of Star Wars Rebels LEGOs capturing the vessels and characters of the new CG animated television show, and foremost among them is the Phantom fighter with Ezra and Chopper the droid ($25). The large set for that show will be the Ghost, a big starship that comes with four figures ($90). From the main films in August we'll also get a new Snowspeeder with Luke, another pilot, and a Stormtrooper ($30). The Yoda Chronicles will feature the Jedi Scout Fighter, an awesome tandem cockpit spacecraft ($60). Return of the Jedi fans will appreciate the new B-Wing with three figures ($50) and you can re-create scenes from the first film with the intricate Mos Eisley Cantina that comes with a speeder, Sandtrooper on Dewback, and a ton of figures ($70).

The "big" news concerns two ultra-large sets also coming in August. For those who like ground battles keep your eyes open for the new AT-AT, a hulking monstrosity with tons of cool play features and five figures including three Snowtroopers ($110). Starship collectors can set their sights a little higher on the massive Imperial Star Destroyer, 1359 pieces with an opening cockpit, six figures, a holographic Emperor, and mouse droid ($130)! Finally, September will see the release of this year's Star Wars Advent Calendar for $40.
