With a new movie coming soon the Transformers team at Hasbro couldn't wait to show the press all of the cool toys coming in 2014, and to start they revealed a very important message: Hasbro loves Transformers fans. It's simple but really informs the fans that Hasbro has you at heart and won't be leaving you behind. With that in mind, they further revealed their plans that include releasing toys aimed at young kids just getting into the brand, older kids who are familiar with the characters (and the films), and finally those of us who are a bit older. Starting off with the new film, 2014 will see movie Generations releases heavily influenced by the Dinobots. These include Deluxe Wave 1 High Octane Bumblebee, Crosshairs (the green Autobot seen parachuting in the trailer), and Dinobots Slug and Scorn. Wave 2 will bring fan-favorite Drift in his new Bugatti form and Dinobots Strafe and Slash. The Voyager scale will have Evasion Mode Optimus Prime (flat-front cab!) and Dinobot Grimlock in Wave 1 with Hound and Galvatron in Wave 2. The Leader Class goes big with Optimus Prime and Grimlock!

For those reading the IDW Transformers books or who like classic designs, this year's Generations also brings Deluxe Gears with Eclipse, Acid Storm with Venin, Nightbeat, Jhiaxus, and Fan Choice winner (and star of her own upcoming comic book series written by Mairghread Scott) Windblade! Roadbuster and Sky Byte round out the Voyagers, and for the first time we're getting a Generations Leader class with an awesome Jetfire!

For kids, Hasbro has unveiled a new collection of simple transformation toys, and they look like a lot of fun. Designed around easy flips and twists, these toys still convey a lot of personality in robot and alt modes. One of the coolest was Drift who works like a butterfly knife; flip it open and it unfolds into a robot or flip it closed and it collapses down into car mode. There are plenty more to see in our Toy Fair gallery, and make sure you check out the massive Stomp 'N Chomp Grimlock!
