Saban Brands announced today plans to provide fans with more Digimon Fusion than ever before. Following its fall 2013 debut on Nickelodeon and Nicktoons, starting Jan. 25, the animated series and sixth season of the Digimon franchise will join the Vortexx on The CW lineup, airing every Saturday at 10:30 a.m. EST/PST. With exciting new fusion powers and endless battle possibilities, Digimon Fusion is the perfect addition to the Vortexx on The CW block.

New episodes of the series return to Nicktoons Monday, Feb. 17, with an all-day marathon followed by two brand-new episodes at 9:00 p.m. EST. The series will rollout weekly premieres in its regular timeslot starting Sunday, Feb. 23, at 11:30 a.m. EST.

“By making Digimon Fusion available on two different television networks and offering fans online promotions and a new online game, we are creating even more opportunities for fans to engage with the series,” said Elie Dekel, President of Saban Brands. “With the continued growth of the series, we are thrilled to be able to provide fans with more of Digimon Fusion’s adventure-packed digital world.”

The Digimon fun continues with master toy licensee, Bandai America, who has produced a product line including toys, trading cards and digital apps for the series. The new Digimon Fusion Collectable Card Game will be one of the first products broadly available for purchase to the public, starting Jan. 18. To celebrate the new card game, Saban Brands and Bandai are revealing card artwork through a “Tuesday FUSEday” online promotion running throughout January. Each week, three cards are being unveiled through a post on Digimon Fusion’s Facebook page (facebook.com/sabansdigimon). The first two cards are released directly via Facebook and a third “super rare” card is released via a link to the official Digimon Fusion website. All cards are housed on the Digimon Fusion Facebook page and are also available for viewing on the website once they are revealed. Additional Digimon Fusion products will be available for purchase beginning mid-February at various retailers.

Also coming soon to Digimon Fusion fans is “Digimon Fusion Shoutmon Smash,” a fun and addictive online game in which Shoutmon brings his ferociousness to smash out the enemies. The game will be available on DigimonFusion.com, MyVortexx.com and other websites around the world later this month.
