A Peek Inside The NES Inspired Box...

As reported in our story HERE, NECA will be releasing a Nightmare on Elm Street Classic Video Game Appearance Freddy Krueger. Created in the same spirit as their Comic-Con exclusive Friday the 13th Classic Video Game Jason (see our review HERE), the 7-inch figure features Freddy as he appeared in the 1989 NES game done up in that truly horrifying video game deco. Like Video Game Jason, Freddy comes in a special window box packaging with opening flap to re-create the look and feel of the classic 1989 video game packaging. Pictured above is a look at the package interior.

Classic Video Game Appearance Freddy Krueger is slated for release this November priced between $20 - $25.

NECA also states that more NES inspired figures are in the works.
