NECA Reveals PROMETHEUS Series 3

Holographic Pressure Suit and Chair Suit Engineers...

As reported in our story HERE, NECA's third assortment of Prometheus action figures had undergone a lineup change. The new lineup, releasing this September, features "Holographic" versions of the Pressure Suit and Chair Suit Engineers. Using translucent blue plastic and hand-painted deco, these figures capture the holographic appearance of the Engineers as they are first seen by the crew - on the run from something terrible.

Each figure stands over 8″ tall and features over 20 points of articulation. Also, both Engineers include a brand new Ampule accessory which can be opened to reveal the mysterious contents inside.

*sigh* Really NECA? Dropping the ball like no other. Do they really think two repaints will outsell a crazed zombie mutant spaceman? Me thinks this line is dead, but then again maybe they can refocus their efforts on the upcoming Aliens figures instead.
