Mattel Reveals First Two Comic Con Exclusives

MOTUC Rokkon & Stonedar 2-Pack and Hot Wheels Cylon Raider...

Every weekday starting today (4-29) and ending Friday May 3rd, Mattel will be revealing a new 2013 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive. That’s ten total, plus they’ll add one or two surprises later in May or June just to keep it all going. Other SDCC details announced today include:

SDCC Voucher Pre-sale Starts 6/4: If you’re lucky enough to attend SDCC and want to guarantee you’ll get the Mattel toys you want, they’ll have a voucher pre-sale starting 6/4 at 9 a.m. PT. You’ll be able to pre-order many of the revealed exclusives on MattyCollector.com for pickup at the show 7/18-7/20. Details to come.

SDCC’s Most-Wanted Sale Starts 8/5: If you can’t make it to SDCC, a small quantity of select products will be available on MattyCollector.com starting 8/5 at 9 a.m. PT. Details to come.

See the Toys at 5/4 at Comic Bug: Once all the reveals are done, Mattel will be taking physical samples of some of them to a local comic store, Comic Bug, to display. It’s too early to tell you what will be there, but here’s where you’ll find them:

Masters of the Universe Classics Rokkon & Stonedar 2-Pack

The Comet Warriors have arrived! This 2-pack of vintage MOTU Rockmen figures includes the young and excitable Rokkon and the wise and heroic Stonedar. Recreate the Filmation look with snap-on arm and leg armor, or go bold(er) and transform into full rock mode with the additional snap-on front piece! Each figure also comes with trademark laser gun that they can hold, or can be snapped into chest. These figures, sculpted by the Four Horsemen, come in window box packaging and are not part of Club Eternia.
