This new episode takes place during the American Revolutionary era. The American colonies are on the verge of revolt and Connor Kenway, an strong-willed warrior, has vowed to ensure the freedom of his people and his nation. During the war, Connor proves himself to be an excellent leader and soldier, and plays an important role in the eventual Patriot victory. But Connor's first goal is to avenge his mother's death and destroy the Templars' power in the Colonies. He is extremely loyal to his friends, and is quick to protect them if they are threatened. Connor is skilled in a variety of weaponry ranging from pistols to tomahawks, and is also an excellent hunter and woodsman.
