Hot Wheels Star Trek Die-Cast Ships

New 1:50 Scale Replicas This June...

Hot Wheels designers pay tribute to the Star Trek franchise with this assortment of 1:50-scale models based on the movies and television shows. Options include Starfleet and enemy ships in pristine and battle-damaged conditions as well as the new vehicle featured in this summer's Star Trek Into Darkness. Look for these to start arriving this June.

Re: Hot Wheels Star Trek Die-Cast Ships

i have a couple of these (Enterprise D and the JJ Abrams Enterprise with battle damage) and i must say these are some pretty niffty ships. now to call them 'die cast' is misleading since only a very small section of these ships are actually metal. but it's still cool to get these ships on a smaller scale. i was always a fan of the Johnny Lightning ships so i totally geeked out when i saw these. they are larger than the old JL ships which is very nice. the price of some of these tend to get pretty crazy, especially the harder to find ones. I've seen them as high as some of the large scale Diamond Select ships which is insane. All in all i do like these and i can't wait to find out what the upcoming '2013 ship from Star Trek XII' actually is. I thought it was the Kelvin but i'm not sure. Any ideas?
